Fun with the Gals...

OK, so today  we had street preaching then after that I went over to the Simmons house!

 Which is where I am now... 

I am with Chas and Kb and we started to play with the webcam pictures 

that they give you on the program so here are some 

of the fun webcam pictures we took!

Just us goofing off and having a lot of fun, as well as playing with the webcam program...

Oh the joy of God's different Creations.

Life...

We can say

LIFE happens!!!

I know all too well that sometimes things do not always go as plan!

Because that’s the kind of life I have…

Single mother raising two handsome boys

Things sometimes never go as planned.

But I expect it and well So does God…

God see all and knows everything before it happens, Right?

So that’s why he expects things, he know when thing go as planned

And when they do not go as planned!

He knows when we sin, (and we all sin daily).

Life happens though people come and go in our lives

There are very few that actually stay forever….

I know One who has been with me always,

He even carries me when I’m weak and down!

Our Lord and Savior

Jesus

You can always depend on him…

Like the poem Footprints says:

(most fave one)

One night a man had a dream
And he dreamed he was walking with the Lord
A crossed the sky flashed scenes from his life
For each scene he noted two sets of footprints in the sand
One belonged to him the other to the Lord
When the last scene of his life flashed before him
He looked back at the footprints in the sand
And noticed that many times along the path of his life
There was only one set of footprints
He also noticed that this seemed to happen
At the very lowest and sadist times in his life
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it
Lord you said that once I decided to follow you
You would walk with me all the way but I have noticed
That in the most troublesome times in my life
There are only one set of foot prints
I don't understand why when I needed you the most
You would leave me

The Lord replied, ''Oh, my precious, precious child
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering
When you see only one set of foot prints.
I did not leave you, it was then that I carried you.''

Though life does happen there will always be at least one person you CAN count on!!!

Some may have a few people which is a true blessing,

 but we all should know and trust in Jesus for he will get us through those tribulations/trails!

 So thank him for all and everything you have,

count your blessings...

Photo Challenge ended!!

OK, so I just wanted to say that the photo challenge ended Sunday the 24th at midnight.

Sso today I am looking them over and I will let you all know the winner

I am so excited for those ho did enter and glad that you all did! 

They are all very well edited and named!!!

What we see and do

Has there ever been a time when you look at who you are as a person and wonder maybe if I am not different then maybe it would be better? Or if you were not such a manly girl or were prettier then maybe something would be different, or maybe if you were taller shorter skinner or thicker… Well I know these different feelings and I fight them almost daily, there are times I wonder why am I louder than most? Yes I know I do not have best hearing since I was a child (having two ear surgeries to help try and fix it)... I wonder if I was more lady like and quiet then maybe things would be different.

We doubt who we are and fight these poor thoughts of ourselves daily, we wonder what is being said when not around… We can go through all are clothes and think we have nothing to wear because we are having a moment lol (girls you know what I mean).  Sometimes we change who we are because we think that’s what is best… I can honestly say I would like to be calmer and more petite and quitter. But we were created different we all have been raised different and we all have been through different things!!

I am who I am because of all the things I have been through, lack of hearing, fights, love, living in the world of the flesh…   No one will ever understand it except God, I know I can be annoying or loud and well ME but I am just that I AM ME… I thought maybe I should be different and to be girly or petite and so on I was thinking the wrong things… When I do that I have to redirect myself back to what’s truly important in my life!!     ~GOD~ 

See we tend to get caught up in the motion of things and lose sight or maybe even have a blurry sight on what truly is important… God is what is important though others may have things to say about me or my walk or judge me in some way all I can truly say is maybe you also have lost sight or blurred your vision on what is truly the most important thing in life…

I found these verses that are somewhat relevant to this topic and I did enjoy reading them!!

~Matthew 6:25-32

²⁵ Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
²⁶ Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
²⁷ Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
²⁸ And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
²⁹ And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

~what do you get when you read these verses…? I know we each something different but I know we need to walk with Jesus daily and to put him first and not our flesh and worldly cares!

Another  few verses I came across while reading was,

Psalm 37:5-11

⁵ Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
⁶ And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.
⁷ Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
⁸ Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.
⁹ For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.
¹⁰ For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
¹¹ But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Different Fonts : )

So I have been goofing off with all these different types of fonts… I would like you (followers) to decide on the best one ok?!

There’s this one called “Catholicschoolgirl”…. Weird name right lol

Then there’s this one called “Arabic typesetting” which is not bad right! 

The next one is called “Amienne” it is soso lol

And this one is called “Californian FB” now that’s a name right there!!

And for the last on this one is called “Freestyle Script” which is pretty also…

The one I used at the top and right now is the normal times new roman which is the common one to use… But hey I like to liven things up a bit by selecting different font to use on my blogs. So tell me which one you like the most though there are many I use but out of these five let me hear what you think?!

So As I have heard that I can see the different font but others might not be able too? weird right... lol well if you cannot see them then why not experiment with the different fonts you have on Microsoft Words 2010 have fun and enjoy!

The visit...

Well today has been a very fun day… I woke up and my boys and I got dressed and ready to go over to spend the day at Mrs. N house and just relax and enjoy the fellowship!  So we got there and I talked with Chas and KB while waiting for Mrs. N to get back… Then after she did we made lunch and had a cute little outdoor picnic. Chas, KB, and I took pictures and I will be showing them to you…

We had so much fun and we are also going to try and start a series called “Shelly and Margret”… So keep an eye out for that… he-he 

We took some fun and great pictures of many different creations that God made… Isn’t it amazing on all the things we see daily and sometimes forget that God started it all Genesis 1: 1 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.”  I just want to say THANK YOU LORD for the wonderful job you did in creating all this beauty we see around us!!

We had a great time playing in the sun and having a picnic... what more could you ask for on such a sunny day like this one! With all the cold, cloudy, and rainy type weather we have been having it was nice to be out and about getting some of those UV's ... :) Don't you think so?

Sunday June 17th

Hello everyone,

So I had a blessed Sunday, I went to church and (Sunday school) the sermon was really amazing. I had nursery during morning service so I was able to spend time with the babies and toddlers playing games, singing songs and just having a really fun time! After church I went to Mrs. N house and had lunch there with Chas and KB, we had hamburgers and chips with dips. Then we all got ready to go to the nursing home to sing and preach the gospel to those that live there and work there. It was a great service by Mr. K and we all sung and it was fun and up lifting. I pray that someone got something out of it! I took some pictures with my Sister’s in Christ  KB from Raining Daises and Chas from A home beyond the river…

 It was a great day, after that evening service was next at 6pm MT time... another great sermon convicting and well we learn some and we use it in life! I am so thankful for the people in my life! God has created this world and the things in this world... We all should give thanks to all we have because we could have been dealt an even worse hand then what we have now! Give thanks unto the Lord!!!

My Daddy and my family at Disneyland!-2011-

So I am working on a post for tomorrow... I will not get time to post today due to the fact that I let my laundry go this week ... he-he :) so I had to catch up and get it done and put away. Now its late and I am sleepy but I had a great day with an amazing day at church and spending time with my church family and going to the nursing home (more on that tomorrow with pictures :) and then just a blessed day! With being a single mother of two boys I play the role of father and mother with them! and it can be tough sometimes but God has my best intentions at hand... I am growing from this experience and so are my kids!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's our there and single mother who have to play both parents!

More good things to come to all that wait... he-he
