Tribulations - the good and bad outcomes...

So Tribulations...
is defined as
A cause of great trouble or suffering
or
A state of great trouble or suffering

~My favorite Picture~
It states in the Bible "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted,
and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name sake." Matthew 24:9 KJV
(more references: Matthew 10:22 KJV, John 15:21 KJV, Acts 9:16 KJV)

I know he will not put me through something he knew I could not handle
(1 Corinthian 10:13 KJV and take the time to study into that :-)
and I trust him to help me through any thing I may have to go through,
whether it for the good or bad outcome!
Remember we may go through many tribulation and have bad outcomes, but it is how we use, endure, and gain from it what the LORD sees.
I am currently reading a book
"Corrie Ten Boom Sequel to the bestselling The Hidding Place Tramp for the Lord"
This book is sad, but also inspiring...
It is about a woman who was put into a concentration camp during WW2, she lost most of her family and she was not a Jew. Her family and her helped HIDE the Jews from the Nazis.
But where found out, so thus in the book it tells us about how she went through pain and suffering (many trials and tribulations). She was able to sneak a Bible into the concentration camp. Her sister (Bestie)  and her (corrie) would talk to the others in the camp about the Lord Jesus. they both went through much tribulation, but even though they were going through all that suffering they still told the other women about the Lord Jesus. They spread the gospel and saved many from hell that were dying daily (Bestie was one who would died there).
It was more then just that Corrie was let go and knew the Lord wanted her to continue spreading the gospel and traveled around the world.
She faced many trials and tribulations during and after the concentration camp...
(Get the book to find out what she did and what she went through)

But I say unto you, "Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
~Matthew 5:44 KJV~

How does your life compare to this...
Can you be able to say that you endured and continued to push forward?
Many will died in the name of the Lord all over the world and have in the past, that will not change!
We may not have to go through as much as others have or suffer or even died for his name sake, but we should be able to preach the gospel to all and anyone!
So stop slacking (I included) and lets start reaching these souls out there whether lost or gone astray, seek them out.

Pray to have the burden for the souls out there!
No matter the trials and tribulation we must face and endure keep faith, pray and be joyful.
Put it on the LORD and allow him full range on & in your life.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
~James 1:2-3 KJV~

(Look at these verses also - Isaiah 12:2 & 1 John 4:4)

Patient/Patience ...

As I sit here at my desk just thinking (nothing to amazing)... I ponder what to write about... Lord give me something to write, that will help others and help myself.
And once again
....Silence.....
Bingo " Patience"
Something I know myself and others lack from time to time.

I know the LORD has definitely been helping me to learn patiences.
From my Family reading Bible every morning, we each take turns, I read some then each of my boys. They are good at reading, but they have times where they struggle with words or they make up a word that starts with the first letter of the word they are on...
Hmmmm.....
Yeah its a struggle sometimes to sit there
and let them read., but I do it to build my patiences.
Or how about trying to fish...?

Now I will be the first to admit, I DO NOT fish and have not since i was a little girl (between 7-9).
I am far from a woman who likes to fish, hunt, and well get dirty in the outdoors,
Let alone FISH.
So yes, I have two boys and want them to be able to enjoy boy things.
So I for the first time I took them fishing.
(This past Monday in Aug 2014)

~Trying~

~Yes I wore an apron, cause I did not want to get the bait or whatever else on me ;-)~

 ~The catch of the day~

It was a sight trying to bait the hook and get my hands icky, or casting the line etc...
But my boys where right there encouraging me...
Telling me "WOW, mom that was a good one it went far out there!"
Looking back now, I could have been a little more patience with them, as they were with me.
We went twice in a week, why you may ask?
Well to build my patiences!
To do something I may not like to do, so that my boys could enjoy something they may love to do one day. As well as teach them about being patience as well.
Because we all know the process when fishing is
"WAITING"
And when we wait we must be PATIENCE!

Ahhhh there it is.

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts:
for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
James 5:8 KJV

The LORD wants us to learn to be patience in life from speaking with others, praying for others, and well even sitting at a red light when you know you are running late...
God wants us to be patient with others and with ourselves.
Patience in wisdom, kindness, love, relationships, family, and the list goes on.
Patience with family who may not know Jesus and the joy that comes with it.
With friends going through something we may not understand.
I have asked for Patience and we all know when we ask the Lord for Patience
we will get tribulations, as it states many times in the bible.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Romans 5:3 KJV

Why did I ask? because i want to learn it, I want to have patience. That's why I put myself in situations to grow from it (ex: Reading the bible taking turns, Fishing).
It teaches me and it will teach my kids, though there are other things we benefit from those situations also...
Yes and some are tribulations that i may not have control over, but I have a powerful God unlike any other that others claim are out there (for later discussion).
I know he will not put me through something he knew I could not handle
(1 Corinthian 10:13 KJV and take the time to study into that :-)
and I trust him to help me through any thing I may have to go through,
whether it for the good or bad outcome!

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
1 Timothy 6:11 KJV

There are many verses with Patients/Patience,
so why don't you start your patience by looking each of them up!

Look forward to your comments on what you found to help you or what God has done in your life to help with building patiences.

Modesty is BEAUTIFUL

I love summers,
the warm sun, the hiking and the out door activities we get to do
with friends, family and with church....
Who would not love it.
Not to mention no school , RIGHT?
But The only down fall for summer would be what our eyes see,
the skimpy clothing's and baring it all for others to see/look.
So with that in mind i wanted to put together some pictures of beautiful ladies
in summer and outfits they wear..
They still look beautiful and are modest!

I asked a few ladies to take there pictures of there summer modest attire and here are a few!

There are more ways to be modest and still look beautiful,
showing skin can degrade oneself and make others get wrong impressions of who you are or your character.

I think it takes more courage to dress modest and respect you as a woman.
Our bodies should be as temples to us, that no one may look, touch, etc.

Your Future husband should be the only one too.
I encourage you to read through the Bible (KJV) and find many more passage on modest dressing and not allowing parts of your body to be exposed, it should only be to the man God has intended for you after marriage.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Timothy 2:9 KJV
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel...

I encourage you to read through the Bible (KJV) and find many more passage on modest dressing and not allowing parts of your body to be exposed, it should only be to the man God has intended for you after marriage.
