Thanksgiving...

I know I have not posted much and I will try to post more weekly.
I have been sick and all sorts of things going on... lol
so no worries I have a few post I am working on and cannot wait to get done.
Hope you all have a wonderful turkey day and Remember this day is to praise the Lord
and give thanks for all that you have been given.
The Lord love each of us and wants to hear our praises and worship...
So when you are sitting at home watching TV, or playing a game
or whatever it may be that you are doing on this day give
thanks for what you have been blessed with, a LIFE.
To be able to get up no matter how bad your life may be
God will grant you an eternity in heaven if you just believe...!!

What are you Thankful for...?

God created the Heavens and the Earth, you and me...
I am Thankful that God also gave his beloved son
Jesus to died on Calvary, for me and you all!
I can honestly say that I will enter the kingdom of Heaven
and I am thankful for the free gift he gave me and hope to be a blessing in others too...

I had my down but I want to keep looking up knowing that the Lord will always
be with me no matter the trials to come
and I am just thankful for those few people in my life
that the Lord sent to help me grow and to be a better myself.
To be able to forgive those who have hurt me r stepped on me,
to cherish what I have been given and to most of all
to spread the words and to pray for those who lost there way or never knew it..
May the Lord bless you all today and every day!!

Life . . .

Life,
It throws so many curve balls and we have to try and dodge them,
because sometimes when they may hit,
And when they hit they can hit hard and tend to knock us off your feet.
Though we as Christians
seem to have to dodge a little more than most.
The devil will attack us at any time,
no matter our standings in life.
We could be someone small like a parent or child,
Or we could be someone that someone looks up to like a Pastor
and a fellow brother or sister.
No matter how you see it those
"curve balls"
that are being thrown at us,
well, they will always be flying at us.
It's like someone wise once told me,
"We will have to endure so much in our walk with the Lord
Because we are believers in Christ
there will be days were temptation is constantly knocking at our door."
which is so true we will be tempted in so many ways,
some days more than others.
In James 1:12 (KJV) it says
Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:
for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
An important person in my life (besides the Lord) preached to my heart,
I can honestly say that I have been tempted and failed.
The devil won and I let it happen.
BUT I can honestly say I will make sure it never happens again.
To think that I let the devil win and to let myself and the Lord down,
I want the rewards that the Lord will give us
I want to give my all to the Lord and to be able to stand up for him and what I believe in instead of hiding in the selfish, sinful flesh.
The devil is the tempter in all our lives and he wins a lot more then we think,
but just because he wins does not mean we should give up...
NO...
it just means we need to work harder,
to keep faith and to be strong,
as well as give ourselves to Jesus.
Not just a part but all of ourselves!
The devil and the sinner will be punished in front of the Lord.
Can you say you honestly want to stand in front of the Lord
with the devil at your side.
Just because you wanted to let the flesh be happy
or
Do you want to be happy next to the Lord
as the devil is punished for his wrong doings,
knowing that you were able to pass the test and say no or say
"Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."
Matthew 4:10 (KJV)
We as sinners lust after the flesh we lust
for what is of this world and I totally understand.
It does seems hard at times but to be honest...
When I pray every day whenever and wherever I am,
I feel and know Jesus is with me and cares.
I will continue to pray for those who do wrong
to me or have ever harmed me.
I will continue to pray for myself for
strength, love, kindness, and wisdom.
I will continue to pray that the Lord blesses all
from whom I know and those I meet.
I will continue to pray for those who are weak, lost, ill, or strayed from the Lord's path.
Prayer will get you through the hardest times,
when you feel like temptation is at your door...
pray, recite versus, or give worship and praise to the Lord.
Matthew 28:20 (KJV)
... and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen
Jesus is always with us and will always give you a way out!
Proverbs 15:3 (KJV)
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.
