*~~~ McGuffey's Ranch ~~~*

God has blessed me and my family with the most wonderful friends.
I went with Mrs. S and her way fun Children to the McGuffey's Ranch on Nov 12 2010, Even though it was so cold outside you still felt the warmth of those close friends and family that were near
(As to me they are all my family).

As we pulled in the drive way, we saw J outside playing he opened the gate to let Mrs. S pull in with her van loaded with children and me, we slowly but surely got out of the van the little boys ran off to play and watch the chickens.
Before the boys could go too far, Mrs. M made sure to tell the two youngest of the boys
"Do not chase the chickens, if you do you will scare them and they will not lay eggs".

Then Mrs. M, Mrs. S and I gather our things and brung them into the house
where the warmth hits our faces like a calming feeling of safety and love, the home made us knowing we could be yourself.
Once in the home we all fellowship and were able to be with the family and friends which we cherish.
The young children outside in the cold playing, the teenagers in the room talking and doing school work, the coolest mommy's in the kitchen chatting away.
Once we all settle in we make the children lunch and the mommy's have a few hours alone to fellowship.
(And guess what we did)
I was able to watch how to milk a goat, but was not willing to try at that point in time. But it was really cool to watch Mrs. M do her thing (which she was fast at). Way to go Mrs. M, you know what you are doing, and Mrs. S awesome for trying to milk it as well.

Later in the evening,
Miss MH, Miss C, and Miss K took me to tour the ranch,
I saw chickens, goats, horses and I even saw a Lion.

 Scary lol!

These girls (though they might be young) are the Prettiest, smartest and respectful girls I know,
I Love these girls like they were my own sisters. Yes I know I am considered an adult I can still relate to the young and older women,
But as I was given the tour we were freezing, our nose red like roses and the stinging of the cold air so we ran to the barn on the other side of the ranch and warmed up.
We climbed up the secret ladder (which are not a secret but looks it - hidden)
and went to the second floor, we got to talked, we ran,
jumped and of course I screamed (thanks Miss K for scaring me). It was the most fun time I have had in a while.

So thanks to all that made this day possible and you all know who you are.
Here are some other pictures I took that day also.

A blessing is given each day to all whether it is a good or bad day,
just a lesson to learn from as we grow in faith and follow our Lord and savior.

Life . . .

So when you think life gets you hard,
to where you feel like you cannot get up . . .
Well just remember to cast your burdens and worries onto the Lord.
Psalm 55:22
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee:
he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

I know I sometimes have to remind myself,
but it is what helps me move forward in life.
If it was not for him and my church family I know
that I would be so deep in the pits of sorrow.
Shout to the Lord of the earth, let us praise him.

When you think you have or had it rough,
remember
Jesus Christ was beat, cut up, and nailed to the cross,
for speaking the truth.
no one will ever no that kind of roughness,
I thank the Lord Jesus for what he did for me and my kids.

Nothing but the blood of Jesus!!!

Jesus paid it all, all to him I owe!!

Lights, judgments...

Well the lights are on and sometimes I wonder if we are truly home, well its hard to say for some and the only thing I know is let's not waste the lights and turn them off if you are not using them...

God loves us and knows our own hearts and minds, we judge other when its not our right too. Let the Lord judge we are vessels that he uses when its time but we do not judge or convict we merely show the way to the judgment seat in a sense. Because I know I will see everyone there soon.

So goodnight for now and just remember the light shines so bright to guide us the way, but most do not realize it when it is there.

Surprise Birthday Luncheon . . .

So today I normally have sewing lessons but it ended up being a get to gather luncheon instead. It was actually a surprise birthday party (belated of course), but still a blast especially when you get to have fellowship with all sorts of wonderful lady’s. Thanks to Mrs. B we had a great place to have the bash, we all got to talk , eat, and enjoy everyone’s company now who wouldn’t like that. I am always thankful for the Lord blessing me with the most wonderful lady’s to go to church with and just be able to get together outside of church as well. We had a wonderful table set up with a variety of little lunch snacks and desert was after.

Fun Sunday Fellowship . . .

Fellowship!
Well I had an amazing day today I was invited out to a family’s home for lunch!
(Thanks *...Take Some Pictures...*)
So I went to their house and Mrs. S and her family were their (So like 6 people) and then Mrs. L was there with her family (7 were there). We had great fellowship and me and M-H got to fellowship in the kitchen and bake, I baked some cookies and M-H made a pumpkin roll-(sorry not sure the real name for it) which for her first time was really yummy and my first time eating it. So yay to M-H for such a wonderful dessert, I baked yummy cookies and just got to have a really great day getting to know everyone and I can honestly say that the Lord is showing me ways to stay out of the devils view. But of course he still try’s to step in but thanks to the Lord I am walking by faith and in the light.  So thanks for the yummy food and fellowship oh and by the way we had for lunch chicken casserole (my first time) and it was quite good and then before we headed to evening service at our wonderful church (Open Door Baptist Church) we had some chicken salad sandwiches with miracle whip and I fell in love! (With the food that is)
Thank you to all who were there and gave me one of the best times of my life I did enjoy being around other women and not just my two little crazy boys in my life!

Mrs.S and Mrs.L
Thank You!!

While We Are Just Finding Out, The Bible Knew It All . . . !

O Hello my fellow readers,
So today I had a great day went to the most wonderful church (my church which is Open Door Baptist Church) a true KJV Bible believing church and got a great message. Did you know that hundreds of thousands of years ago the Bible tells us about the things of this world, and it took decades for this world to try to come up with answers? In other words I will show you some examples:
Ecclesiastes Chapter 1 versus 6-7:
The wind goeth toward the south and turneth about to the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
(So it tells us about the winds)
All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
(And it tells us about the way the water goes to the ocean and evaporates into the air and goes back to the lands and mountains)
The next thing is about the northern lights,
Psalms Ch. 104 versus 1-2:
BLESS the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out heavens like a curtain:
(Talks about the northern lights that can be seen when they show)
Jeremiah Ch.33 versus 22:
As the host of the heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured:
(meaning that God told us before anyone that there are so many stars in the sky that we will never know, but we try too.)
So there are more then just what I listed but I would think just a few examples would be sweet and soft. Well that was the Sunday service and I just wanted to give you some of the message I was given. To think that what we have this Bible gives us the upper hand and advantage then all those who are lost and do not have the word of the Lord.

As I was told “He created all, so he can certainly help us with our needs!”

Womens Bible Class . . .

So I have been reading this really good book called " Becoming A Vessel GOD CAN USE", I like this question and i would like all of you to ask yourself that question and see what you come up with . . . Imagine yourself as a vessel. Describe what you see? Do you see yourself as a chipped, cracked, broken, and dirty or maybe you feel like a dusty old jar forgotten on the self? Maybe an ugly water pitcher unpolished and tarnished, How about a crystal vase . . . you look great from a distance and people admire you, but a closer look reveals that there are cracks from top to bottom. You could not hold water if you tired let alone provide life to another living being. This book By Donna Partow is a really great book I am still reading it but it helps you realize that though you might not be perfect God will use the imperfect like me more than the perfect sometimes. Lady’s out there I have been blessed with both good and bad blessings but as I tell myself “the Lord does not give me anything I cannot handle”. So love yourself whether you are big, small, tall, short . . . because God loves you for you if you want to keep healthy that’s fine also but just know when you look in that mirror every day the Lord see a wonderful creation that he made and he does adore you!
