Hey everyone!

      It has been a really long time since I have done a post. So much for trying to post daily or weekly am I right... :) So here is an update this year, i have had my up's and down's this year. which is nothing different from last yr. My car broke down and so forth but I am still happy to be here and enjoying my life.

       But today is a special day, my youngest little boy turned 7 today... Wow they just keep growing up and getting older. I work today and he is with his father today until 6 pm (mtn time). I have come up with a quiet little birthday with myself and the two boys to celebrate his birthday. The plan is a movie then a nice homemade dinner of his choice and a cake to enjoy, that his big brother and mommy made.

We are going to watch Free Birds

  Then for dinner after the movie we will have Chicken w/ mashed potatoes & gravy and corn.

And a vanilla cake with chocolate frosting.

Are you SAVED...?

You can be forgiven and saved for all eternity, starting today.

You can be saved from sin and the eternal penalty of your sin.  Jesus Christ came to this earth to die on the cross for YOUR sins. He shed His precious blood and paid the penalty for your crimes against God.

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” (Matthew 1:21) “For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” (John 3:17) “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” (1 Timothy 1:15)

The Bible says, “There is none righteous . . . All have sinned . . . the wages of sin is death.” (Romans 3:10, 23; 6:23) Your sins have put you under the condemnation of God. “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.” (John 3:36).

You cannot save yourself by a good life or by works of the law. If you could go to heaven by keeping the Ten Commandments or by doing more good than bad, Jesus Christ would never have had to die a horrible bloody death on the cross to pay for your transgressions. “Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.” “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” (Romans 5:8,9)

Now all you need to do is put your faith in Jesus Christ and the sacrifice he made for your sins.  You must receive the free gift of salvation which he has supplied. Imagine all your sin and guilt wiped away! It can become a reality today if you'll ask Jesus Christ to be your personal Saviour.  “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Right now the Lord Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, is knocking at the door of your heart. If you open the door, He will come in and dwell with you forever. He will never forsake you or leave you. He’s the only one you can trust completely. Open your heart to Him in prayer. “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom. 10:13) Right now, ask the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ to forgive your sins and save you from hell.

 “God be merciful to me a sinner. Thank you for dying for me. Lord Jesus, I now receive you as my Savior by faith.”

“And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” (Acts 16:31) Lay hold on Christ and trust only Him and nothing else!

Jesus said, “Ye must be born again.” When you receive Christ you are born again. You can have a new start by receiving Him. Then, and only then, will you be a child of God.

12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  (John 1:12,13)

Hiked the L and SURVIVED!!!

Hiked the L and SURVIVED!!

So I texted Mrs. N and asked if the two girls could go hiking with me and my big boy… I also asked Jeri , they all said YES!!!

I have never hiked the L before only the M… For those of you who do not live in my city might not know what that is.

Well it’s a huge letter on a huge mountain (exaggerating a little) and there is a path to climb up to it.

Each letter means something like the M stands for my city’s name.

The L …. Well not sure what it stands for I think it’s for Lolo but not too sure.

Anyways my son has wanted to hike it for a long time now so I said why not, Jeri has hiked it before…

But neither I nor the others girls have, so we climb and wow I must have stop over a hundred times (exaggerating).

Boy did I fill the burn and pain in my calf’s and legs!!

Though the other girl thought it was nothing and beat me it was nice to burn whatever it was I burnt off … hehe

So I took pictures ~of course~ on the way up and also and the end.
